Over the past 10 years, we have performed thousands of rescue
missions, saving over 3000 animal lives. Successful or not,
there always leaves a touching story behind each of our rescue
missions.
To tell a story is easy, but to put the words and photos on
the website is another story, not to mention to write in English,
especially when the job is done by a group of people whose native
language is not English, and whose time has almost devoted to
rescue missions every day. Nevertheless, we have still tried
our best to translate as many stories as possible, but with
very limited time, the work moves slowly. Currently, we have
written about 100 rescue stories on our Chinese website, while
there are only a dozen in English. Sacrificing sleep, our volunteer
workers often burn the midnight oil to do the translation, hoping
that more people around the world who read the stories are able
to care more about the animals nearby.
Before your reading, please allow us to ask you to be physically
and psychologically prepared, because the stories and photos
you are going to browse can make you uncomfortable. During the
editing, we have modified some of the photos and do as much
as we can to avoid showing the photos that may cause discomfort,
but in a few cases, the original images are left unchanged to
give the story a vivid depiction.
Since all the rescue stories you are going to read are based
on true missions, our editors always shed tears when they think
of the cries of the miserable lives behind the lines and passages.
To others, these stories may not be as imaginative as Arabian
Nights or as enchanting as Snow White, but to us, these stories
record each moment when we run a race against time and death,
and these stories carry the most precious emotions between animals
and mankind.
Read the stories, feel the love, happiness and sorrows behind
the words, and share with us your ideas and feelings on our
Discussion Forum.
