If you do wish to adopt any of our rescued dogs, before applying, please give more thought to making this life-long commitment to the adopted companion, who needs your care and LOVE during his or her short term of life. Please carefully read the following information and contact us for any questions: 1. All the rescued dogs by Animal Rescue Team TAIWAN are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, vaccinated for Parvo Distemper, rabies shots and microchipped. 2. You must be an adult with a secure job and financially independent. 4. In general, we do not ship the adopted dogs out of the greater area of San Francisco. Adopters outside the region must have a talk with our volunteers in San Francisco for special arrangement. 5. Averagely, it takes about 2 to 4 weeks to ship the adopted dog from Taiwan to San Francisco. Once your application is approved, we need to make preparation for the dog's medical certificate, official papers for overseas adoption, and the flight arrangement. To save the traveling cost, we need to find volunteer inbound passengers to ship the dogs for us. Animal Rescue Team TAIWAN will finance the dog's traveling expenses of about $200 for each dog. The adopted family can pick up the dog at the airport upon its arrival. 6. Not all applicants will be approved for your requested dogs. We will select the most suitably matched home of the dogs’ emotional needs based on each individual dog. 7. LOVE, RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY for our rescued dogs are our utmost expectation from you.
